BELLEVILLE (AP) - Authorities say they believe they've cracked the case of a nearly four-month-old southwestern Illinois shooting death.
Prosecutors in St. Clair County on Tuesday charged 23-year-old Marlon Jackson of Washington Park with one count of first-degree murder.
Investigators allege that Jackson shot Darrell Wilbourn last Sept. 24
near a public housing complex in East St. Louis.
Jackson remains jailed in Belleville on $1 million bond.
