The Amy Center in Mt. Vernon will be hosting the 2012 Annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner Fund raiser on February 11th at 5:15pm at the Mt. Vernon Holiday Inn. Tickets are $35. Cocktails will be served at 5:15pm, with a chicken cordon bleu dinner following at 6:00pm. Entertainment will be provided by South of 70. There will be a cash bar, silent auction, and awards. All proceeds benefit the Amy Center. Organizer LaDonna Richards says the event is the most successful fund raiser to date, and agrees it is the most enjoyable. "We're going to be out soliciting for prizes next week one day. We're coming to Marion County. Past events can be seen at amycenter.mvn.net, and it shows the themes and everything. They come up with their own theme for their table, and our goal is a minimum of twenty-tables, and up to 25 or 30, and there's ten-people at each table", said Richards.
