A 54-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail for alleged aggravated battery, driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license. Centralia Police say Cecil Pearce of Robinet Street was arrested shortly after midnight Monday morningwhen they responded to a report of a fight in the one-thousand block of Wright Drive. Pearce had allegedly gotten into an altercation with Douglas Griggs III of Wright Drive when Griggs tried to stop Pearce from leaving the scene of an accident. Police eventually determined Pearce had allegedly struck three parked vehicles on Wright Drive and Saddler Place. A 29-year-old Centralia woman is being held for alleged possession of a controlled substance and on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant. Sabrina Hoercher of Broadway was allegedly found in possession of three narcotic pills without a prescription after being arrested on the warrant charging failure to appear or pay on a misdemeanor theft warrant. Bond on the warrant is set at $10,000. Three others remain in custody on outstanding warrants. 38-year-old James Brown of Bruce Court in Centralia is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond on a Marion County DUI warrant. 38-year-old Todd Hughes of Patterson in Centralia remains in jail in lieu of $5,000 bond on an outstanding ordinance violation warrant for possession of cannabis. 27-year-old Sara Phillips of Illinois Street in Alma remains in custody on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant following her arrest by Alma Police. A 39-year-old Salem woman has been arrested for alleged battery. Lena Mosher of South Lincoln Street is accused of striking Melissa Gonzales of East Lyford in Salem when Gonzales went to a home on West Poplar Street in Odin to pickup her child. Mosher later posted $150 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail. 30-year-old Jaime Crawford of Stafford, Missouri posted $350-bond and was released on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant.
