MIAMI -- Fourteen people have been shot and two are dead after authorities say gunmen opened fire outside a Miami funeral home.
The Miami-Dade Police Department says shots were fired Friday as services were taking place at the Funeraria Latina Emanuel.
One person died at the scene and another after being transported to a nearby hospital. The injured include a five-year-old girl.
The Miami Herald reports the shots are believed to have come from at least one gunman who drove by the funeral home in a vehicle and began shooting at the crowd.
Witnesses told the newspaper the funeral was being held for 22-year-old Marvin Andre, who was killed in another shooting.
